Materials Needed:

  • 2 Wooden pallets (same size)
  • Sandpaper (80 and 120 grit)
  • Paint or stain
  • Paintbrush or roller
  • Measuring tape
  • Pencil
  • Sawhorses or workbench
  • Screws and drill
  • Decorative hooks
  • Large metal or wooden bowl

Step 1: Prepare the Pallets Start by sanding the pallets to remove any rough patches or splinters. Use 80-grit sandpaper to start and then move on to 120-grit sandpaper to create a smooth finish. Make sure to sand the entire surface of the pallets.

Step 2: Choose Your Finish Now it's time to choose how you want to finish the pallets. You can use paint or stain to achieve the look you want. If you want a natural wood look, use stain, and if you want a bold colour, use paint. Make sure to let the pallets dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 3: Install the Pallets Place the pallets on sawhorses or a workbench so they are level and can be easily worked on. Once they are in position, use screws and a drill to attach the pallets together. Make sure to attach them securely so the table is stable.

Step 4: Add the Decorative Hooks Using a drill, attach decorative hooks to the side of the pallets. These hooks will be used to hang items such as utensils, towels, or decorative items.

Step 5: Add the Bowl Place a large metal or wooden bowl in the centre of the table. This bowl can be used to hold ice and beverages or can be used as a planter for flowers or other plants.

Your fun and functional outdoor table is now complete! This table is perfect for outdoor entertaining and will be a unique and stylish addition to your outdoor living space. Customize it to fit your personal style and use it to make your next outdoor gathering a hit!
